The BlackHawk Rear kit is based on the Forged Dynalite caliper and is compatible with all Corvette Engineering front brake kits and even with stock front brakes.
These calipers my look small, but they have the same piston area as the stock caliper meaning you will retain the excellent brake balance your Corvette came with.
The rear of the Corvette supplies a lot of stopping power due to the typically stiff springing and the 50/50 weight distribution. A good braking system here is paramount. The BlackHawk rear system balances all the Corvette Engineering front system perfectly and also removes 16 lbs per wheel of unsprung weight in the rear allowing the rear tires to stay in firm contact with the ground.

All of our kits, contain 2 calipers, BP-10 pads, custom laser cut, tig welded steel brackets, grade 8 bolts and adaptor lines and the 2 piece front rotor kit.

For street use it is recommended to upgrade to DOT brake lines( Russel RUS-655042 not sold by Corvette Engineering)
